Save a life with American Red Cross-1st Aid/CPR with Pediatric/AED, July 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This one-day course will help you recognize and provide care, for persons of all ages who have experienced a sudden illness or injury, until Emergency Medical Services arrive and take over. Following current Emergency Cardiac Care guidelines, students will learn to recognize a heart attack and what to do in this situation, including providing CPR and using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Learn to recognize stroke, breathing emergencies, how to treat burns, care for choking adults, children and infants, and controlling bleeding. Certificate and reference card included.
