Winter Wish List from The Landing Place

We have an updated wishlist of items needed that will help get us through the winter months! There are current and recurring requests on the list and anything donated from these lists is very much appreciated.

IN-KIND DONATIONS for The Landing Place can be delivered to 61 Park Street on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday mornings from 10 am – 2 pm. Please call ahead using the following number (207) 691-6240 so that we can confirm that we are able to accept the donation and ensure that one of our TLP staff members is there on-site to greet you.

MOST CURRENTLY URGENT NEEDS:

● Cold weather clothes: gloves, hats, warm socks, fleece jackets, hoodies, snow gear, snow boots

● Men’s shirts and pants

● Body wash

● Clean underwear and socks

● Fleece blankets, sleeping bags, comforters

● Reusable grocery store bags and plastic bags with handles for Take Home items

● Rollerblades, larger sized (adult M11+/W9+)

● Men’s size 9.5 Muck boots

● Men’s size 11 sneakers

 

RECURRING NEEDS/REQUESTS:

CLOTHING – For boys/young men and girls/young women between the ages of 11 and 21 (middle school, high school, and young adults) of all sizes, but especially extra large sizes since these sizes seem to consistently be much more difficult to find. Please note that due to COVID-19, The Landing Place can only accept clothing that has either been newly purchased or recently laundered.

● Warm (smart wool) socks & thermal underwear (tops & bottoms)
