Since its founding, the Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce has been your community partner—championing local businesses, fostering workforce opportunities, and driving economic growth across our region. Today, we need your support to continue this mission.
Over the past few years, we’ve prioritized our members, waiving nearly two years of membership renewals during the pandemic and holding our annual dues steady for four years. While these decisions were necessary to support you during challenging times, they left the Chamber with financial challenges of our own. Rising operating costs and ongoing commitments to serve the community have made it clear: we cannot continue without your help.
We are launching an urgent fundraising effort to raise $50,000 by December 20 to stabilize our operations and secure the Chamber’s ability to serve you and the Midcoast community.
Your support is critical. Whether you’re a long-time member, new to the Chamber, or a valued community partner, you have a role to play in ensuring the Chamber remains a vital advocate and resource for our region.
How you can help today:
This $50,000 appeal is just the first step in a broader effort to raise $250,000 in the coming months, ensuring the Chamber can sustain its operations, enhance its programming, and expand its impact for years to come.
Your investment supports programs like the State of the Economy Luncheon, Paid Family & Medical Leave webinar, The Jewel, and the Annual Business Expo. It helps us promote tourism, create networking opportunities, and advocate for the issues that matter most to you and our community.
Together, we’ve proven that our region thrives when we connect people, ideas, and opportunities. With your commitment, we will navigate these challenges and emerge even stronger, ready to lead and serve—with you and for you.
Make your contribution today or reach out directly to president@camdenrockland.com. Every dollar brings us closer to securing the Chamber’s future and the success of our region.
Thank you for standing with us—now and always.
With gratitude,
Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce
