Bay Ferries Limited is pleased to announce the beginning of ticket sales for the Province of Nova Scotia‘s international high-speed ferry service to Maine for 2022.
The 2022 operating season will commence on May 19, 2022, with service four days per week until June 22 after which service will be offered seven days per week. On September 7, service reduces to six days per week with season close on October 10.
The CAT high-speed ferry will depart Yarmouth at 9:30 AM Atlantic time, arrive in Bar Harbor at approximately 12 noon Eastern time, depart Bar Harbor at 1500 Eastern time and arrive in Yarmouth at approximately 1930 Atlantic time. Crossing duration is approximately 3.5 hours.
Awareness and marketing campaigns for the ferry service will activate now and intensify as the operating season approaches.
Bay Ferries’ Safe at Sea Program, a series of measures developed since the start of the pandemic to facilitate safe travel by ferry, will be implemented on the service. Customers will be required to comply with all current border restrictions and requirements imposed by the country of entry. These requirements will likely evolve between now and the start of the operating season.
