Machias Savings Bank is pleased to announce the addition of Jean Claveau as Vice President, Business Banking Officer. Claveau comes to the Bank after working in commercial lending for over 20 years in the State of Maine.
Claveau is based out of Rockland and will be serving the Coastal and Central Maine area. He will be responsible for building strong relationships with businesses to assist them with all of their commercial banking needs. He enjoys listening to business owners and playing a role in the economic development picture in Maine.
Claveau moved to Maine over 25 years ago and currently resides in Hallowell with his wife and daughter. He served as past chair of Cynergy Young Professionals, a division of the Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce. He serves on the board of GrowSmart Maine, and he is a member of the Augusta Elks Lodge, Kiwanis, and Franco-American Club Calumet. He holds an MBA from Thomas College and is a certified economic development finance professional through the National Development Council.
