Explore your investment options with Edward Jones financial advisor Mike Curtis. Understand terms such as stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. Learn how they work and understand the basics of risk and return, portfolio diversification, and retirement plans. Fundamentals of Investing will be presented via Zoom. Wednesday, March 9 from 5:30 – 7:00 pm (one night only).

For a hands-on learning experience, try Marlinspike Seamanship – Nautical Arts. This five-week class will teach you how to make decorative and useful objects from marine cordage. Using Herbie Garret Smith’s illustrated “Marlinspike Sailor” as a guide, instructor Gene Reil will help you learn to make key fobs, bracelets, pouches, floor mats and more. The class is live at the Mid-Coast School of Technology and runs Tuesdays from March 15 to April 12, 6:00-8:00 pm.
