Mike Lokuta’s two-night Buying and Selling on eBay will teach you how to get the most from the on-line auction as a buyer or seller. Learn how to create an account, and understand the eBay fee structure and the anatomy of a sale. You’ll get tips on writing item descriptions and product photography. Discussion about pitfalls, tax liability, and eBay No-Nos will be included. Laptop computers will be available for your use. This course is for the eBay novice or dabbler, so bring your questions to class for discussion. Mondays from March 21 and 28, 5:30-8:00 pm, live at Mid-Coast School of Technology.
Our 200-hour CNA-Certified Nursing Assistant course includes classroom, laboratory, and clinical experience. Under instructor Terry Adkins, successful students will meet state licensing requirements. Those who complete the course and the State Competency Exam meet eligibility requirements to enter the healthcare field as a Certified Nursing Assistant under the direction of a licensed nurse. Long-time MCST Adult Ed instructor Teresa Johnson offers two opportunities to improve your office skills. Excel 2019-Advanced Applications will help experienced users with multiple worksheets, web sharing, pivot tables, advanced formatting, charting, documenting, auditing, and other spreadsheet challenges. This live, instructor-led Windows 10 Desktop course features official course material approved by Intuit & Microsoft. Tuesdays, March 29 to April 12 from 6:00-8:00 pm.
Experienced QuickBooks users can join Teresa for QuickBooks 2021-Advance Applications, a live, Intuit-approved and instructor-led Microsoft Office Suite course using the Windows 10 Desktop. Prerequisite: QuickBooks Basics/Intermediate course or instructor’s permission. Thursdays, March31 to April 14 from 6:00-8:00 pm.
These courses provide the MOS certification pathway (no expiration) for interested students, and students may elect to take the official exam at MCST’s Certiport testing facility. Loaner laptops are provided for the duration of the class so that all students may have access to a Windows 10 device at home.
