The Medicare Annual Enrollment Period is October 15 through December 7. Every fall, the Camden Public Library provides opportunities to help the community gather information and ask questions at free, public Medicare talks. This year, the library will host two drop-in public meetings in the library’s Picker Room.
On Tuesday, October 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Linda “Lily” Filippi will give a presentation as a representative of United Healthcare. On Tuesday, October 25, from 10:00 am to 12:00 p.m., Renata Lahner of The Lahner Group, LLC, will facilitate a Medicare information talk.
At both programs, the public will have an opportunity to ask questions about the basics of Medicare, open enrollment, how Medicare plans work with other insurance, and more. These are informational events, not sales events, and no insurance products are for sale at the sessions.
