Starting with Hayao Miyazaki’s, Kiki’s Delivery Service (G), on Friday, October 21 at 6pm. A young witch, on her mandatory year of independent life, finds fitting into a new community difficult while she supports herself by running an air courier service. Starring Kirsten Dunst as the voice of Kiki. The Addam’s Family (PG-13) follows at 8:15pm. Starring Anjelica Huston, Raul Julia, and Christopher Lloyd this 1991 classic focuses on a bizarre, macabre, aristocratic family who reconnect with what they believe to be a long-lost relative, Gomez’s brother Fester Addams.
There will be no food truck on site on Friday, please bring a picnic!
On Saturday, October 22, Pixar’s Coco (rated G) will start at 6pm. This animated feature is about aspiring musician Miguel, who is confronted with his family’s ancestral ban on music and enters the Land of the Dead to find his great-great-grandfather, a legendary singer. At 8:15pm, the second film will be Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice (rated PG). The spirits of a deceased couple are harassed by an unbearable family that has moved into their home, and hire a malicious spirit to drive them out.
The Brother Shucker food truck will be on site vending throughout the evening.
