Seacoast Security, Maine’s top voted residential and commercial security company across Maine, announced its purchase of Rennie Security Systems, Inc. This acquisition adds approximately 300 additional residential and commercial customers to Seacoast Security’s portfolio in southern Maine.
Rennie Security has operated in Saco, Maine for 42 years, and offers home and commercial security installations and service throughout southern Maine. While many small companies have sold out to large muti-national corporations who out-source monitoring services to out of state call centers, Seacoast Security has continued to work to acquire these companies and keep the jobs here in the state of Maine.
Seacoast Security is the largest self-monitoring security company in the state of Maine. Over the last 50 years, Seacoast Security has grown from a small security company, based in West Rockport, Maine, to offer state-wide coverage as well as service in New Hampshire and Vermont. Seacoast Security has maintained its operations in West Rockport and employs Maine people for all of its security dispatch operations. Currently, Seacoast Security employs 117 people to serve their thousands of customers across the three states.
