A class of eight hard-working students, hailing from towns as far apart as Belmont and Waldoboro, have completed the required coursework, laboratory time, and clinical training to become Certified Nursing Assistants through MCST’s Adult Ed CNA program.
This rigorous program attracts students with varied backgrounds, ranging from young adults just starting their careers to older students looking to grow in a new direction. One thing they all have in common is a desire to care for others and serve their community. More than half of these new graduates leave the program with a job waiting for them in the field.
MCST Adult Education offers several courses for healthcare workers. Applications are being taken for February and April start dates for the nine-week CNA course as well as a five-week CRMA course that begins January 6, 2023. Funding opportunities are available.
