CMCA launches “Art You Love” Benefit Auction

Kicking off just before Valentine’s Day, the Center for Maine Contemporary Art is offering its annual “Art You Love” benefit auction in partnership with Artsy, the global online auction platform. Featuring artworks from 57 leading artists connected with Maine, the CMCA auction is an opportunity to purchase art you love and support CMCA’s exhibitions and educational programming. Bidding for CMCA’s Art You Love benefit auction, is live NOW and runs through noon on Monday, February 28. At the close of the auction, successful bidders will be notified by CMCA to make arrangements for shipment of each artwork. Register to ensure you can bid on your favorite works in the auction. Learn more on our website.This is the third year CMCA has partnered with Artsy to bring its benefit auction to a global collecting market. “Artsy is a phenomenal platform for bringing contemporary art auctions to bidders in Maine and around the world,” stated CMCA Executive Director & Chief Curator, Timothy Peterson. “We are deeply grateful to the artists and galleries that have contributed works to support CMCA’s exhibition and education programs.
