The Rockport Public Library will host its second Tween Escape Room event on Wednesday, February 22, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Students ages 11 to 14 will work as a team to solve puzzles and find clues hidden throughout the library. The escape room theme is “A Recipe for Danger.” Youth Librarian Stephanie Miller will create a fictitious setting for the challenges which she calls “Bubblecroft Academy.” Successful completion of the escape room mission will lead participants to an exciting hidden treasure. On Saturday, February 25, at 10:30 a.m., the Rockport Public Library will host the first class in a new culinary series for young adults. Students ages 11 to 16 are invited to join Youth Librarian Stephanie Miller to learn how to “no-bake” fun snacks.
