Art opportunities abound at MCST Adult Education

April 13, 2023

Four great courses start Tuesday, April 25 at Mid-Coast School of Technology Adult Education.

Artists and designers who want to improve their use of color can learn online with Susan Reidy in Color Wheels Aturning: Creating an Artist’s Palette. This course will help you produce the color you seek and intensify or subdue vibrancy. Change the mood of your finished work. April 25 to May 16, four Tuesdays from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.

Creating and Writing a Legacy Book with Naomi Howe will help you set time aside for contemplation, writing and creating, using a variety of materials and media. Create an origami flag book with a matching cover as a lovely, personal memory either for yourself as a reminder, or to gift to others as a legacy. April 25 to May 16, four Tuesdays from 6:00 – 8:30 pm.

Other courses starting April 25: Automotive Technology with Tom Vannah, six weeks that will give you a basic understanding of your automobile, and Starting Vegetable & Flower Seeds at Home with John Fromer, two classes that will teach you how to select, treat and plant seeds for your summer garden. Tuesday, April 25 from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday, April 27 from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
