Volunteer Social at Owls Head Transportation Museum

May 22, 2023

Curious about becoming a volunteer at Owls Head Transportation Museum? We’re hosting an Open House on Thursday, June 1, from 11am to 2 pm, at the museum, 117 Museum Street, Owls Head. Light refreshments will be served.

Already a volunteer and love what you do? Bring a friend! Come discover all the volunteer opportunities that our unique and historic museum has to offer! Give back to the community, knowing you’re making a difference! Staff from all departments will be on hand at this event to host and show off our museum.

Volunteer opportunities range from preserving our world class collection to engaging with the public through educational programming or participating at one of our high-flying summer events!
We can assure you that your time spent volunteering at the museum will be meaningful, fulfilling, and most importantly…FUN!

For nearly 50 years, volunteers have played an essential role in sharing our museum and educational programming with the community. Currently, nearly 200 volunteers contribute their knowledge and time to our non-profit, but OHTM is always on the lookout for additional curious, purposeful and community-minded individuals who want to join our ranks!

REGISTER ONLINE or contact: Volunteer Coordinator Ashleigh Cook at acook@ohtm.org or call (207) 594-4418.
