Reduce single-use plastic in the environment and give back to those in need in the local community, all while running routine weekly errands at Hannaford. Camden Public Library has been selected by Camden Hannaford store leadership as the benefiting non-profit in the Community Bag Program for the month of May!
The Hannaford Community Bag Program is an easy way for shoppers to give back to the local community and the environment. For every $2.50 reusable Community Bag purchased during the month of May at the Camden Hannaford (145 Elm St.), $1 will be donated to the Camden Public Library.
“This year has brought so many changes and difficulties for non-profits,” said Nikki Maounis, Executive Director of Camden Public Library. “We are thrilled to be participating in this innovative program that makes it possible for shoppers to make a difference in their community on multiple fronts. We appreciate the support of our neighbors in this important initiative.”
