Susan Reidy is an ace at online instruction for “The Power of Line” via Zoom. Join in if you want to learn to draw or freshen up your skills or sharpen your eye for “how to see”. Bonus? Most supplies you already have around your house. Gain confidence and control in 4 weekly sessions, starting Tuesday, Oct. 26th, 6-8pm.
Lucky for us, we have Brandon Soards offering a crash course on video editing using DaVinci Resolve. Learn the core fundamentals of computer-based video editing, using a bit of footage you provide from a thumb drive. Sign up soon: the class runs on Thursday, Oct. 28th from 5:30-8pm.
TIG Welding comes up for 6 weeks, starting Tuesday, Nov. 2nd. This is a Tues./Thurs. class that runs from 4:30-7:30pm. Expand your current welding skills to include the use of stainless steel and light metals. Not for beginners, this is the most difficult of all types of welding, but the finished product is clean, strong, with x-ray quality when mastered.
“Exploring Geographical Info Systems” (GIS) is an introductory class that presents an overview of this spatial analysis problem solving tool. Learn why it’s used in almost every field, from health, transportation, and public safety, to natural resources. The field is wide open to career opportunities! Shenley Neely runs the class for one night, Monday, Nov. 8th from 6-8pm.
“Buying & Selling on eBay” returns, and always with the latest site updates. The class runs for 2 Tuesday evenings, 5:30-8pm, starting Nov. 9th. The class instructs on using eBay as a tool for buying and selling, plus you’ll learn the tax, shipping, photography, and sales tips from Mike Lokuta’s many years of eBay success.
Kevin Bailey instructs in a hands-on way, outdoors, for his “Shrub & Tree Care for Winter” class on Saturday, Nov. 13th from 9-11:30am. Learn how to protect for the winter elements, what and how to prune now, and what tools are most effective for the job.
