Maine Sport Outfitters (MSO) would like to announce that its new location at the corner of Main and Park Street in Rockland will open on Saturday May 7, 2022. The new store will be Maine Sport’s third store in the Region, with existing locations in Camden and Rockport.
The Grand Opening Celebration will begin at 9am on Saturday, May 7th. The celebration will feature a ribbon cutting ceremony, live radio broadcast, numerous giveaways including an Old Town kayak and free hotdogs from 12 to 2pm. Maine Sport is excited to partner with the AIO pantry and will donate 10% of gross proceeds from that day. In addition, the first 100 people to bring a non-perishable food donation will also receive a free gift.
“This location will be a blend of our other two stores, offering our most popular products from our most popular brands. The best of the best of MSO” says CEO and General Manager, Troy Curtis. Curtis goes on to say “We view this new store as an opportunity to better serve the people living in and visiting the greater Rockland region with the outdoor gear and equipment they need to get outside and enjoy our great State.”
The new MSO store will provide seasonal visitors and year-round residents with an opportunity to shop premium outdoor apparel, footwear and gear from brands like Patagonia, The North Face, Keen, Old Town and Trek. Gear for the camping, biking and paddling enthusiasts will be available to purchase and bikes will be available for rentals.
