2023 Grant Applications Open at United Midcoast Charities

February 23, 2023

Starting March 1, nonprofit organizations providing the basic needs of food, housing, health & safety, and economic security to residents in Knox and Waldo counties can apply for a 2023 grant from United Midcoast Charities (UMC). The application is the first step in a rigorous months-long review process by the UMC Grants Committee and Board of Directors.

“We’re looking forward to our annual cycle of grantmaking,” said Grants Committee Chair Jim Hengerer. “The process engages our entire Board and includes extensive interviews and onsite visits. The results make a huge difference for thousands of our friends and neighbors in need here in the Midcoast.”

The annual grants application process closes March 31 this year. To apply, visit our website at: https://unitedmidcoastcharities.org/apply/.
