Steel-Pro is proud to announce its first annual scholarship program awarding two prizes of $1000 to support Maine students pursuing a career in welding. The scholarship is open to high school seniors or current college students who have demonstrated a commitment to a career in the welding field.
According to a recent article on Knox.VillageSoup.com, “businesses and teachers tout the importance of career technical education”, and Steel-Pro is proud to support this trend by providing financial assistance to the next generation of skilled workers. The scholarship is intended to help offset the cost of tuition, books, and other related expenses.

Eligible students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and submit an application explaining their career goals and how a welding technical education will help them achieve their dreams.
